Dark, elegant ruby red in colour with subtle brightening on the rim. A hearty and inviting nose revealing fine earthy notes, with cassis and wild berries, plus fine notes of leather and dried violet in the background. Densely woven and complex on the palate, showing considerable structure without being ponderous, finishing with nice juiciness. This already seems balanced and accessible.
