The red wine Birillo Costa Toscana IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Principe Corsini - Tenuta Marsiliana has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense ruby red. Open-hearted and inviting on the nose, of dried tomato and raspberry, then rich cherry with a hint of macchia. Very fine drink with tightly woven tannins and a delicately creamy body, filigree and elegant, shows fine drive on the finish, well balanced.
