The red wine Costamiole Riserva Nizza DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Prunotto has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
It has a bright, shimmering ruby purple colour. There is a memorable and inviting nose, with notes of ripe raspberry, plum compote, lots of dark chocolate, and some pepper in the background. On the palate it has a nice interplay, with juicy dark fruit, and fine notes of cedar wood, although a little drying on the finish.
