The red wine Barolo Riserva DOCG Bussai Vigna Colonnello, vintage 2019 from the winery Prunotto has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Brilliant, medium intensity ruby colour. Finely characterised nose with appealing notes of rose petal, fresh wild raspberry and blood orange, fine savouriness in the background. Full-bodied and gripping on the palate, unfolds with pithy, dense tannins, shows very good depth, notes of tobacco and liquorice, lots of drive on the finish.
