The red wine Podalirio Toscana IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Querceto di Castellina has been rated in 2020 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep dark garnet. Spicy nose accentuated by the use of wood, chocolate powder, some salt, wet stone, blackberry jam. On the palate very full, very juicy, mouth-filling, however, marked by the wood tannin, dries up on the finish.
