The sparkling wine Zlata Radgonska Penina Millésime Brut Nature, vintage 2008 from the winery Radgonske gorice d.o.o. has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Radgonsko-kapelske gorice in Slovenia.
Deep yellow gold with silver reflections and a fine delicate mousse. On the nose there is a multi-faceted bouquet of ripe yellow tropical fruit, nuances of peach, a hint of gooseberries, and notes of blossom honey. It is full-bodied, with a fresh acidity and yellow apple and delicate biscuit flavours. With vivid acidity, mineral and its gastronomic style, and although already mature, it has further aging potential.
