The red wine »Edition R« Syrah trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Remstalkellerei eG has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 88+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Almond and sweet cherry jam on the ripe nose, with caramel and meadow herbs. On the palate the wine is juicy and medium-bodied in stature and extract. The acidity is lively, the fruit ripe, and the fine, very restrained tannins give the wine an almost Pinot-like quality.
