The red wine Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Fattoria di Rignana has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, rich ruby red with a slightly brighter purple rim. Nose of varnish and undergrowth, alcohol, vegetal nuances, rum pot (Rumtopf) and light brett. Initially dark berry-like and fruity on the palate with grippy tannins, then loosely knit and drying on the finish.
