The white wine Opes Pinot Grigio Südtirol DOP, vintage 2017 from the winery Ritterhof Weingut-Tenuta has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright straw yellow with a sparkling core. The nose is characterised by delicate mineral tones, appears chalky, also iodiney, shy notes of pear, peach. Initially very creamy on the palate and dominated by a lot of texture, opens up in the back on savoury tones, fine yellow fruit, long finish.
