The red wine Il Falcone Rosso Riserva Castel del Monte DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Rivera has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nero di Troia from the region Puglia in Italy.
Bright ruby with a drop of purple. Fragrant nose, very floral, of rose petals, orange blossom, also some blood orange, plus fine graphite, also cherry, alternating with leather. On the palate it presents with a lot of finesse and depth, spreads superbly, tightly woven tannins, extremely elegant and long, magnificently succeeded.
