Tasting Notes
Dense shimmering garnet colour. Opens with a lot of vivid dark berry and fully ripe fruit on the nose, cherry compote and plum, then also leather, truffle and other earthy components. Hearty and gripping tannins on the palate, very profound, also shows a lot of rich fruit, pithy, beautiful sweet texture in the background, long finish. It is best forgotten in the cellar for ten years and it will then be really great.
