Tasting Notes
Distinct new wood, but also a very clear, dark berry fruit (wild blueberry, also black currant) and gradually emerging herbal-spicy aromas: thyme, cumin, allspice and clove. The palate reveals a very young wine, strong in alcohol, but also with a rich amount of very well extracted, fine-grained tannins. The acidity remains very restrained - it is the substance and tactile minerality that carry the wine onto the finish.
