Tasting Notes
Save the Kabinett! Wackerbarth is doing something about it. Passion fruit and citrus play a part in this charming performance of a classic. Nothing stands out, all aspects are integrated: acidity, sweetness, extract, alcohol. Simply a juicy wine with great drinking flow.
More about the tastingApple, passion fruit and lemon balm on the powerful nose, with savoury and mineral notes. The ripe and lively acidity sets the tone on the palate, juicy and also dense in the extract, fine tartness with cultivated phenolics and a distinctive citric note. Cultivated Kabinett with medium length.
More about the tastingGreen apple and lemon balm on the nose. Taut on the palate, firm acidity, with the lightness of alcohol typical of Kabinett and a harmoniously restrained sweetness. The extract is dense, even if the alcohol remains pleasingly low: a good Kabinett.
