Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby-garnet with purple reflections and a watery edge. Smoky, woody spice underpins black berry fruit, hints of liquorice and some peppermint on the nose, with a waft of wild strawberry. The palate is juicy with elegant texture, built around a core of fruit sweetness - red forest berries in particular - and with fine, supporting tannin. It already seems harmonious and accessible, with good length to a sweet cherry and mint-driven finish. Safe ageing potential.
