The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Salvioni - La Cerbaiola has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, flint ruby with garnet glints. Initially a little cloudy, with hints of sweat and tobacco, then clears up, beautiful plum. Round and balanced at the start and on the finish, presents itself with pithy, gripping tannins, hearty, currently still quite rough, still needs ageing.
