The red wine Südtiroler Blauburgunder DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Tenuta Schloss Englar has been rated in 2018 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Deep, rich ruby red with a slight brightening on the rim. Fragrant nose of fine strawberries, cherries and elegant oak spice, inviting. Soft and warm on the palate, expands with a beautiful mellowness, the wood is clearly noticeable on the finish with coconut tones, can wait a little longer in the bottle.
