The red wine Südtiroler Blauburgunder DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Schloss Englar has been rated in 2018 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Deep, rich ruby red with a slight brightening on the rim. Fragrant nose of fine strawberries, cherries and elegant oak spice, inviting. Soft and warm on the palate, expands with a beautiful mellowness, the wood is clearly noticeable on the finish with coconut tones, can wait a little longer in the bottle.
