The white wine »Silberlack« Schloss Johannisberg Riesling GG, vintage 2015 from the winery Restaurant Schlossschänke has been rated in 2017 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
We are reminded of an oriental bazaar, the herbal scent becomes so exuberant. Saffron, ginger, star anise, cardamom and lavender. The palate, however, has nothing to do with the Orient. A cool, citrusy wine.
