The white wine Wasserburg Zwirken Grauburgunder Réserve, vintage 2020 from the winery Schmidt am Bodensee has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Subtly woody and savoury, but also notes of allspice, aniseed bread, yeasty tones and a berry Pinot Gris fruit on the horizon. On the palate, the wine proves to be full-bodied and supple, the extract filling is sinewy, slightly full-bodied, slimmed down by a lively acid nerve and mineral notes. Still very young, with excellent ageing potential.
