The white wine Südtiorl Cornell Chardonnay Formigar DOC, vintage 2010 from the winery Schreckbichl - Colterenzio has been rated in 2012 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Sparkling straw yellow. Opens with subtle smoky notes, followed by lovely, crisp fruit and a hint of pineapple. On the palate, there’s a lovely interplay between fruit and oak; it has plenty of smoothness, though the finish currently still has a slight hint of oak, but it shows all the signs of developing into a very good wine.
