The white wine Südtiorl Cornell Chardonnay Formigar DOC, vintage 2012 from the winery Schreckbichl - Colterenzio has been rated in 2014 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright straw yellow. Interwoven nose, shows notes of pineapple, apricot, also some yellow apple, underlaid with fine spicy notes. Spreads out well on the palate, blossoms, salty-mineral components, long finish, still has a little wood overhang, but should integrate well with ageing.
