The red wine Passionata, vintage 2014 from the winery Schwarzenbach Weinbau has been rated in 2017 by Kilchmann, Martin with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region miles in Switzerland.
Strong red; bouquet of good intensity, blueberry notes, hints of dried fruit, mint, a hint of coconut; soft attack on the palate, medium-bodied, juicy acidity, strong, still slightly drying tannins, subtly smoky; long finish. Beautifully mature, spicy Merlot.
