The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, vintage 2012 from the winery Secondo Marco has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Bright, medium dense ruby. Somewhat restrained on the nose, shows ripe, red cherries, some cranberry, in the background slightly greenish nuances. Grippy, gripping tannin characterises the approach, then fine sweet fruit texture, currently seems somewhat closed.
