The white wine Chardonnay in Mondeiche gereift, vintage 2016 from the winery Motzenbäcker by Marie Menger-Krug has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Pale golden yellow, notes of ripe mango, passion fruit and pear, fine oak spice. Juicy and supple on the palate with a beautiful flow and finely chiseled acidity, slender structure, elegant and juicy wine with precise yellow fruit, apricot and pear, well-matured in oak. Beautiful spiciness takes over on the finish. Well balanced.
