The red wine Verduno Pelaverga DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Sordo Giovanni has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright, shining raspberry red. The nose is clearly and strongly peppery-spicy, with a hint of grated black pepper, a slightly vegetal aftertaste and red berries. Clear fruit and clear savouriness on the palate, juicy, also slightly salty, light-bodied but not banal, delicately woven tannins on the finish.
