The red wine Cottà Barbaresco DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Sottimano has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kierm, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Bright ruby core. Fine, appealing nose with notes of raspberry and strawberry and ripe plum notes. Present, tight-knit tannin on the palate, a little rough at present but has a lot of potential. Best to reserve for a few years to allow further ageing.
