Rich, deep dark ruby violet. Very dense nose, lots of ripe elderberries, plums, blackberries, underlaid with white pepper and tobacco. Powerful on the palate, initially impresses with plump fruit, then unfolds with lots of firm tannins, dense and robust, great spice and melting on the finish.
