The orange wine Rebula Svetlik Maximilian, vintage 2020 from the winery Svetlik has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser with 93 - 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Ribolla Gialla from the region Vipava valley in Slovenia.
Medium orange gold in colour with amber reflections. On the nose, a multi-faceted bouquet of ripe yellow fruit with a hint of coconut and white nougat, nuances of dried apricot and blossom honey. The juicy palate is complex, with fine sweetness, some marzipan, mineral and balanced with ripe, delicately spicy tannins that give the wine length. Already drinkable with the potential for ageing.
