Tasting Notes
Deep red. The nose is full of dried fruit, cherry schnapps, mint, and smoky bacon. A wood and vanilla note also emerges. The attack is creamy, with a juicy acidity balancing fruit sweetness and pithy tannin. Full bodied and long lasting, but a touch drying and with noticeable alcohol. A modern, spectacular Merlot that seems somewhat constructed rather than effortless.
