The red wine Rosso del Conte Sicilia DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Tasca d’Almerita has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nero d’Avola, Perricone from the region Sicily in Italy.
Powerful ruby hue. Very intense and appealing nose, blackberries, blueberries and plum with a little cinnamon. Crisp, vivid fruit, overt blackberry on the attack, grippy, very well-integrated tannins, lovely traction and a long fresh fruit finish.
