The red wine Chianti Classico, vintage 2012 from the winery Tenuta Cappellina has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 86 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Matt ruby red. Filigree nose of ripe strawberries and raspberries, also some cigar box and aniseed. The palate is strongly reminiscent of the vegetal notes of Cabernet Sauvignon, unfortunately not at all like a Chianti Classico.
