Tasting from 14.02.2019: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

A dark ruby red colour with a purple tinge. On the nose aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, fine dark chocolate, as well as an ink note. On the palate it is taut and gripping with finely woven tannins, seemingly ferrous with some minerality, and it is powerful, dragging on the tongue for a long time, and gripping on the finish.
