The red wine Biserno Toscana IGT, vintage 2012 from the winery Tenuta di Biserno has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, deep dark ruby with a slight garnet sheen. A very intense and multi-layered nose of ripe dark currants, blackberries and blueberries, paired with dark tobacco and fine leather. Supple and full-bodied in the attack and on the palate with lots of fleshy fruit opening up into dense, fine-meshed tannins that caress the palate. A very exciting, salty and long finish rounds things off. All in all, very balanced and still has a long life ahead of it.
