The red wine Palazzi Toscana IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Tenuta di Trinoro has been rated in 2020 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant ruby with a violet core. Shows an appealing mix of chestnut honey, elderberry, blackberry and dark bread crust on the nose. On the palate very lush and rich, lots of dark fruit, opens with dense, vivid tannin, but then dries slightly on the back end, some alcoholic notes on the finish.
