The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Tenuta Luce has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, intense ruby with a slight garnet edge. Presents itself open and accessible on the palate, emphasises ripe fruit notes, aromas of pickled plum, elderberry, in the background leather and a touch of iodine. Round and polished in the approach, opens with grippy, vivid tannin, hearty and vivid, subtle notes of sandalwood on the finish.
