The red wine Luce IGT, vintage 2008 from the winery Tenuta Luce has been rated in 2012 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, bright ruby purple in colour. Extremely compact and dense on the nose, appearing very polished with ripe blackberry and some cassis. It's similarly polished on the palate, initially showing lots of ripe berry fruit, then dense, firm tannins, seamlessly flowing, with a long finish of berries and tobacco.
