The red wine Luce IGT, vintage 1999 from the winery Tenuta Luce has been rated in 2004 with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Medium ruby garnet, good depth of color, broad rim brightening, smoky nose, blackberries and sloes, dark berries, fine wood note, pleasant vegetal Merlot note, sweet and juicy on the palate, velvety, stylistically close to the 1997, with somewhat better polished tannins, seems rather wide-meshed on the finish, medium length, decent, but somewhat thinner.
