The red wine Luce, vintage 2020 from the winery Tenuta Luce has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red with a brightening rim. On the nose a fine fragrance, discreet, some lavender, mint, then cassis and ripe raspberry, cold smoke in the echo. On the palate vegetal tannin, grippy, unfortunately remains a bit hung over and raw in the echo.
More about the tastingDeep dark, elegant ruby red. Inviting nose, elegant wood, cassis, blackberries, sweet cherry fruit, cedar, incense on the finish, complex. The palate is textured and vivid, with still very youthful tannins, in addition beautifully juicy, several layers, punchy finish, needs time.
