The red wine Luce IGT, vintage 2010 from the winery Tenuta Luce has been rated in 2014 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep dark, bright ruby purple colour. A beguiling, rich nose right from the start, of ripe blackberry and elderberry, underpinned by notes of tobacco and liquorice. Full-bodied and clear on the attack and on the palate, with lots of ripe, appealing berry fruit, densely woven, vivid tannins, develops a rich drive, with a long finish.
