The red wine Monteti IGT, vintage 2013 from the winery Tenuta Monteti has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Powerful, dark ruby. Opens with pronounced spicy notes on the nose, of cardamom and fresh basil, followed by rich cassis and plums. Spicy notes on the palate, too, of kitchen herbs, hearty, gripping tannins, a little coarse and rough overall.
