The red wine Prima Pietra Toscana IGT, vintage 2017 from the winery Tenuta Prima Pietra has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark bright garnet. Somewhat restrained on the nose, opens after aeration showing rich cherries and ripe plums, a whisper of rumtopf, fine wood spice, notes of marzipan. Currently still very young on the palate, grippy, firm tannin, juicy fruit, exciting, should definitely be given more time.
