Strong ruby garnet, violet reflections, brightening at the rim. Somewhat rustic on the nose, ripe cherry fruit. Complex, but also round and appealing, soft caramel-nougaty, somewhat melting, not at all typical of this Cabernet Sauvignon-influenced wine.
