The red wine La Bandina Valpolicella Superiore DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Tenuta Sant'Antonio has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella , Croatina, Oseleta from the region Veneto in Italy.
Dark shining ruby. Initially somewhat restrained on the nose , then with much air contact shows red berry and warm-hearted, ripe raspberry fruit with light savouriness at the end. On the palate of medium structure, nevertheless spreads out well, light savouriness, noticeable tannin, still young, dry finish.
