The red wine Piano dei Daini Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Tenute Bosco has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio from the region Sicily in Italy.
Clear garnet red with a brick-coloured rim. Delicate herbal scent on the nose, tobacco and cedar wood, ripe blueberries behind it, a hint of graft. Describes a lively arc, lots of freshness, velvety, interwoven tannins, medium-bodied, with fine drive on the palate and a mineral finish.
