The red wine Cabreo il Borgo IGT, vintage 2011 from the winery Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute has been rated in 2015 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, rich ruby with a slight violet tinge. Very fragrant and intense nose, initially showing notes of tobacco, then lots of cassis and preserved cherries. Firm, dense tannins, interwoven with sweet enamel, supporting the wine over its entire length, with slightly earthy components at the back of the fruit notes and a very long, spicy finish.
