Dark ruby red with delicately brightening rim. On the nose some cranberry confit, fine undergrowth, graphite, cold smoke, toast, delicate black cherry. On the palate compact, punchy, with great fruit and polished core, very well integrated tannin, textured, comes back juicy in the finish, has depth, some bottle age will do it good.
