Intense, dark ruby red with a violet sheen. Lots of fruit on the nose, reminiscent of cherry and plum, followed by intense spice, reminiscent of nutmeg, followed by dark chocolate. Lots of pressure on the palate, warm-hearted, restrained acidity, lingering, spicy finish.
