The red wine Vigneto Poggio Doria Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Tenute Silvio Nardi has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
It has a bright ruby red colour. It displays on the nose beautiful fruit nuances of rich cherry, ripe blackberry, ripe plum, some butterscotch, and light note of leather. It is beautifully juicy, with vivid fruit on the palate, and it is multi-layered and dense, with a good use of oak. It is currently still a little restrained, and should be put away to enjoy in a few years.
