Dark, rich, shining ruby red. On the nose, ripe cherry, subtle earthy hints, slightly alcoholic. On the palate, gripping, with rich drive. The wine is profound, comes in many layers, and is very powerful. It is currently still drying in the back and needs bottle maturing.
