This has a rather dark ruby colour. There are ripe aromas on the nose, with notes of black cherry, plum, plus polish, and intense notes of fine oak. As expected it is powerful on the palate, with notes of dark berry, spicy oakiness, a gripping acidity, and ripe tannins, and it is medium to long on the finish.
